🔬 Research Focus

We aim to address questions raised here ‣ and:

• gather relevant existing high level research on the identity and SSI
• capture and categorise projects building within identity
• identify projects with large impact footprints on github
• filter down projects worth further exploration
• compare most heavily used identity tech stacks
• identify novel ideas that are pushing the boundaries of the space
• identify any gaps we might see as building opportunities
• identify collaboration opportunities with standards organisations and identity projects
• connect with other orgs/individuals researching identity

We acknowledge identity its a enormous space and it would be impossible to capture all verticals. We hope to scrape the surface just enough to catalyse discussions and inspire project ideas.
