There were multiple changes to the timeline due to unexpected technical issues when deploying and testing, all within normal bounds considering work with a new build and team!
The round was initially planned to be run at the end of May, but due to multiple technical difficulties on top of community participation at EthCC, a major global Eth event, the timelines were pushed back.
The PGF Ethereum Mexico team handled all the changes to the front-end, deployment of contracts, and all deployments, with advice and support from the MACI team. None of the technical team had worked with MACI or ZK before which offered steep learning curves. this was intentional, with the goal being that members of the community became more familiar with the technology, and for the team to experiment and think through the multiple design opportunities that such mechanisms offer.
